I have a cobra 3 computer that won't download the dives. I have previously used an oceanic VT3 successfully with this mac dive program. I have downloaded the new suunto drivers but I think it is still looking for the Oceanic driver. I keep getting a message that says, "Failed to read header information (Error Code: -5)" I have looked at the preferences, system, advanced and there is only one serial port listed, "/dev/tty.usbserial-ST000001".
any idea what to do next to make this computer download?
Thanks
Andy

Re: Cobra 3 won't download
That is the correct port (it is the same USB driver, provided you are using the official suunto cable).
Sometimes the Cobra 3 won't wake up properly - try importing twice, ie, do it again immediately after it fails. Make sure you don't have low battery etc.

Re: Cobra 3 won't download
Have tried downloading multiple times, rebooting computer, uninstalling and reinstalling Suunto driver, have uninstalled the Oceanic driver, etc. I still get the same error message: Import Error Failed to read header information (Error Code: -5). Have any other ideas?

Re: Cobra 3 won't download
Try importing twice in a row. The Cobra fails to wake up sometimes and needs a couple of attempts (in quick succession) to trigger it.
Check you do not have low battery. Are you using a USB hub? Have you verified the cable works in Suunto Dive Manager in Windows, and is not faulty?
