Contact for Nick Shore
Does anyone know how to get hold of Nick, the developer of Macdive? I am looking to help keep the program running.

Re: Contact for Nick Shore
Good day to you aslesin1221!
Unfortunately I have not been able to get a hold of Nick in the past couple of years.
In another post on the forum there are people who are working on projects to replace MacDive with different software packages. At least one of them (BlueDive) is an open source project to ensure that it does not stagnate if the primary developer is no longer able to work on it.
It would be great if you did end up getting in touch with Nick and were able to keep MacDive alive. There are a few of us here in the forums who would be willing to help with a project like that.
Have a great weekend!

Re: Contact for Nick Shore
Sadly (or not), it seems family, work, and day-to-day life has prioritized Nick away from MacDive. While he has been asked here and via email to considering either turning the code over to someone or even place it into GitHub as public domain, he doesn’t seem prepared to make that change yet.aslesin1221 wrote: ↑Thu May 07, 2026 9:58 pm Does anyone know how to get hold of Nick, the developer of Macdive? Maybe he’s hoping to get back into it down the road . . .
At this point, I’d just like to see the Dropbox feature fixed . . . .
