Hi, I have recently stopped using Dropbox and moved to a private - self hosted sync solution. I was wondering if it would be possible to have a "custom folder" sync option in mac dive where the app just syncs with a local folder, and leaves to the user to sync that folder over the network.

No, sorry. There's only the option for either Dropbox or iCloud.
