Dropbox sync fails after change of Mac

Hi guys,

I had the unfortunate position of my Mac completely failing. I managed to get the Mac-dive files off and recreate everything on a new machine, but for some reason the sync works once then I have to turn off sync and sign back in to Dropbox before it will work again. This is on iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. Everything running latest IOS and Mac OS.

Any thoughts ?

Thanks Nick, but not working.

I followed the instructions, but still fails.

My iPhone is the primary database, so iPad and Mac are still disabled. When I enable the sync on the iPhone it works the first time, but then fails on any subsequent sync’s. If I revoke Dropbox permissions it will then work for the next sync and then fail thereafter.

No amount of resetting worked, so changed to iCloud sync and working better than before 😊

Thanks for coming back to me Nick

Ps, how do you get the log from an iPhone ?

1. Settings > Enable debug logging
2. Do something
3. Settings > Tap my email
