Garmin Descent MK2i

Do you have plans to add direct support for the Garmin Mk2i directly via bluetooth... workarounds using export/import feels uncomfortable.... and honestly I much prefer to have it all in macdive...

I have recently acquired a Garmin Descent Mk. and I have the same issue of uploading my dives to MacDive.
i have written to Nick of MacDive and he has suggested that I upload the dives to Garmin Connect then transfer the .FIT files to MacDive.
This a round about way which I find extremely inconvenient. Some other dive log apps already allow a direct upload of the dives.
I have suggested that perhaps in future updates of MacDives, this inconvenience is rectified.
So far no response from MacDive

Any update on this? I plan to Get a Garmin MK3i but would like to stick with Mac-Dive

As with the MK2 you can go to connect.garmin.com and download the original file and import that into MacDive by simply dragging the .FIT file onto Macdive's dive list. Works for me with the MK3

So GPS Co-ordinates are saved as a Note, but not a map location.
Is there way to change this?

It would be nice if we could have a Mapping feature that lists a "Location" but then can list a dive with a GPS entry/exit as a pin, named with a date. I dive a general location a lot. But I want the specific spots logged.

So it could look like "Key Largo" -> "2025-09-01" -> LAT / LONG And have the DATE field be an editable field.
