Shearwater Petrel 2
235 Dives in P2 log
Dive 235 imports as 7/1/2028, which it is not correct
SWP2 Log shows dive log info correctly
SWP2 last two dives were 10/21/2017, dives 234 and 235 which the P2 correctly records
MD correctly records the dives as #s 233 and 234

Re: New User - first import problems
So the date of one of them is wrong? Is it the test dive?
Are you referring to the iOS or macOS app, and which version are you using?
Thanks.
Edit: Provided you are on the latest version of either, my guess is that you have a dive with that date somewhere. Because MacDive numbers them by date after the download (and doesn't use the built-in number from the Petrel), it's being numbered last. You could track down which one easily enough - it's possible the date was set wrong on the device at the time, or it was edited after-the-fact on the device.
I'm curious if if's the test one (the first dive), though that is usually an earlier date. Or perhaps you remember changing one? Point being it sounds like the latest dives are correct, and it's an earlier one that has a newer date (hopefully that makes sense). So it's a case of finding out which one that is and understanding why.

No, the test dive is dive #1. It appears correct.

Ok, figured as much. What about the other questions?
iOS or Mac? Which dive is it? Have you edited any of the dates on the device itself ever?
