Manual Dive Entry
Just installed MacDive software with the intend in entering my dive logs previously captured in hardcopy form. So far this hasn't been a very good experience. I attempted to add a dive site and the software crashed. So i decided to just go straight to entering my dives starting with my first dive which was in 1983. The software won't allow me to enter 7/15/83 and claims it is an invalid date. Is this a known issue?

The crash is fixed in the latest beta:
http://www.mac-dive.com/downloads/MacDive_Beta.zip
Not sure on the date, I'm not aware of any issue. I'll take a look for you.

Re: Manual Dive Entry
I just tried adding a dive with that date and it was fine - let me enter it no problem in the Dive Inspector, though it was trickier in the table itself. It wanted the correct format with time there, which was a little annoying.
Try doing it via the Dive Inspector (which also lets you edit multiple dives) - does that help?
As for the crash, it's already fixed in the latest beta as I mentioned above. I'll have that out in a patch in the next few days, or just grab the beta now.
