How can i transfer dives from different program?

Post by idash »

Hi every one. I am having a problem transferring data from my Zeagle N2ition (not 3) PC software running on MBP, Lion thought Parallels to MacDive. I tried dropping .xmp files or selecting them through dialog nothing happening. Anyone know how i can do it?

But, but, but, it said just drag and drop .XML files, and now you telling me not? It is no workaround this? I am not even asking to add the computer to support list simple transfer after i paid the requested price... I don't think it is a good nor fair business model. Its a file in standard format i spent months trying to install third party drivers and workarounds and editing .plist files.

Hi there,

I think you are misunderstanding what XML is. It's a general format, yes, but different products define their own schema. MacDive imports certain files that are in an XML based format, and those are described in the help:

http://www.mac-dive.com/help/index.php? ... Data_Files

So for example it supports the Shearwater XML format, UDCF which is XML based, etc. But not just any old XML file. Specific support for the various formats needs to be added.

At the end of the day, you can either insult me or you can send me a sample file to take a look at and I can see about supporting it. But this kind of rude post is not going to get you very far. If you would like a refund, send me your order number and I will happily put that through.

Thank you.
