I am trying to travel with only an iPad pro (and iPhone) - no computer, but have no idea if I can load dive data from my Suunto D6i. Has anyone tried transferring data from non-bluetooth equipment to an ipad via any of the Apple dongles?
I have read that any USB device -not requiring a driver- will work.

This is not supported.

Well, that's it for my ipad experiment, went back to the store today. Maybe try one again when I get a Bluetooth equipped dive computer. Just (didn't) works.

To clarify a little, you can use the Dive Buddy (a third party accessory) to transfer from the D6i, but there’s no apple accessory.

Thanks Nick, yes I saw this (and Dive Mate and probably others out there) but I already had invested well over $100 on 3 specialized dongles and the prospect of more 3rd party units that would likely require yearly updates, get lost or become redundant if I change computers was just too much for me.
And it was getting close to becoming double the price, volume and weight of a basic iPad!

(thanks for your input though)

Using an EON steel via Bluetooth is a pretty expensive way to get your D6i working.
Just saying..
