I'm trying to make a smart divelog for all my boat dives.
I said show me all dives where "boat name" is NOT empty box
How do I do this? If I leave the last field empty, it show up all my dives, so if you don't add boat field, what is it recorded as, and how can I filter on that?
Thanks! Scott
Smart Log for Boat dives
Re: Smart Log for Boat dives
For a work around, I just said show me where "boat name" contains "a" or "e" or "i" or "o" or "u"
I figure there has to be a vowel in there! it works for now.

Re: Smart Log for Boat dives
I would have used: "Entry Type Is Boat".
I use Entry Type to mean Boat or Shore, so that works for me. Would it cover your case?

I use Entry Type for how I got into the water (Giant Stride, etc.)
I have added Boat Dive as a Dive Type and use that to make my smart logs.

Same. Also use "Shore", "Open Circuit", "Photography", "Air", "EANx", etc... I've found it comes in handy in various, unusual, circumstances.Bollar wrote:I use Entry Type for how I got into the water (Giant Stride, etc.)
