Hello,
Just bought this app and enjoy it. I have easily imported a bunch of dives from my dive computer though the first 45 or so were "too old" and no longer stored on it. From a previously used dive log I have these dives in an .zxu format...but I don't see a way to import them into MadDive. Any help anyone?
Thanks,
Ron

Re: Import .zxu Files?
MacDive doesn't read ZXU files currently.
I may be able to manually convert them to something that it can read - email me the files. No promises, but I'll take a look.

Yup, I got them. I'll have a look in the next day or two.
Is this from Diver Log on macOS? If so, do you have the original database? I can convert that far easier.

No, I believe it is from Diver Log on a PC...not entirely sure as that PC is not in use. Wait, wait, no, it's from a program called Diving Log from somewhere in Europe. Again, I downloaded the dives from the Pro Plus 3 into that program and then exported them and these files are what popped out.
I appreciate whatever you can do...
Thanks again!

Re: Import .zxu Files?
Do you still have Diving Log? A .db database exported from that will drag drop directly in to MacDive, with better results than ZXU.

Re: Import .zxu Files?
I will look into that. Unfortunately I am getting ready to leave town for 5 or 6 days and will be away from the old pc and it’s files. I’ll let you know what I find then.
Thanks,
Ron

Hello again. I have found an .mdb file called Logbook that I believe came from the pc-based log program I told you about before.
I know how to drag and drop...but I don't know where to drop this db file to bring the dives in MacDive. Can you help?
Thanks,
Ron

DISREGARD!!!!! After futzing around for a bit I found one of the file formats I could export from that would import to MacDive. Thanks for the great app.

Re: Import .zxu Files?
Excellent, glad you got it sorted.
The .db database export is the best. There are others that would work (UDDF etc) but in general they contain less info and in a less useful format.
But if you've got the main info and you're sorted, that's awesome.
