2.7.0 – highlight fast ascents

Hi.

First, i like the new overlay of the data (ppo2, n2 temp …).

But why i get a highlighted fast ascent display on the graph from 2 or 3 m/min (orange)?
On 8 or 9 m/min its even red… of course there is no explicit warning, but still it´s marked.

Btw., a nice feature would be the graph display of the deco stages like in Shearwater Desktop…

They're just standard conservative rates for ascent speed. If you don't want to see it, you can turn it off via View > Highlight Fast Ascents.

Hi there, new user and first time poster so I may have got this totally wrong.

I'm getting weird stuff showing up in the detail box, orange fast ascents with low m/min including at least one showing a negative ascent.

Usually this is just a slight mismatch in where the point actually falls, vs where your mouse is, and the smoothing of the profile. Move to the right slightly and it should make more sense.

The reason I was looking was that these are from my open water qualification dives. When I looked at the log file from the dive where I did my CESA it showed as red but with an ascent rate of 0.69m/min and I was struggling to see a) how 0.69m/min was a fast ascent and b) how I could possibly have been going that slow.
