Hi there,
I'm just trying to download from my new Seabear H3 for the first time, and not getting much joy. "Seabear" is not appearing as a manufacturer on the dropdown list of devices, and the csv format does not appear under the File Formats list. Yet it's clearly listed as a supported device in the user manual.
Have I missed something? I have MacDive 2.6.4 on a MacBook Pro with OSX 10.11.4.
Any help appreciated!
Justin

Re: Seabear H3 downloading
You can just drag and drop the files on to MacDive.

Re: Seabear H3 downloading
Wow, that was easy! Thanks very much.
I didn't see the "drag and drop" method in the logbook/PC mode of the instruction manual, so here is a recap:
- open MacDive on the MacBook
- connect H3 to MacBook using USB
- activate PC Mode on the H3
- open a Finder window on the MacBook and navigate to the H3
- identify the CSV file for the dive to be downloaded to MacDive
- drag and drop the file onto the MacDive window so that a green "+" symbol is displayed
- success!
- edit the dive as appropriate on MacDive
Thanks again

Re: Seabear H3 downloading
It's covered in the User Guide:
http://mac-dive.com/help/mac_03_02_import.php
These are not available via the Import window, but that's a really old horrible way to do it anyway.

Re: Seabear H3 downloading
Nice one, thanks again.
Sorry I didn't spot it in the user guide.

It doesn't seem to interpret the gas setting: the downloaded dives showed as "Air" although the setting for both was EANx32. Also the low temperature data did not show: both were shown as 1c whereas the Seabear showed 16c.
Are those known bugs, or is it something I'm doing wrong?

It is not known, but I would need to take a look at the data in question to comment any further. Please email it to support.
