Hello Nick,

I am very happy to use MacDive about 6 month and I am waiting the V2 with impatience !
So I am a French user ;) , do you think it will be possible to have the choice between different languages (or patch) ? :roll:

Thanks

Hi Nick (and everyone else);

I would be glad to help with the translation for a french version of the software if you need it.

I love developing on the Mac as it is setup so well for adding new languages to programs!

Have a great day!

Hey guys,

Once v2 is out and I can start fixing any issues that pop up, I'd love to get it translated. I'll get in touch when I'm ready for that.

Thanks!

Cheers - I think French must be the most commonly requested language. So definitely high priority :)

That would be great - once I start doing this proper, the more the merrier!

The auto-updater I use in MacDive (Sparkle) has the ability to send anonymous system information when it checks for an update. I've enabled this in MacDive 2 - it's opt-in so you can choose to turn it on or off - which will build up a view of what language people are using. It should make it easy to see which languages really need translation. Provided of course people are happy to send this information!

I'm currently working on a German Translation. I've already translated the Localizable.Strings, but opening of die nib-Files doesn't work 'cos they're compiled. Nick, could you publish the source versions of the l10n-Files? Then everyone could translate MacDive in his language and you can include the one's that you like.

Nope, they're flattened.

I haven't decided whether I will pass on the nib files to be translated, or whether I will try and be a little more clever and actually store all of the strings outside of the nib itself.

The strings file hasn't been tidied up either, you're brave for attempting to translate it. :) I appreciate the effort, but it's not really ready yet.
