Preparing New Database - iOS sync stuck

Hi There,

I am facing an issue with the iOS sync (Wifi) which recognises the iPad correctly but would then get stuck on a message "Preparing New Database". I am trying to replace the database on the iPad or iPhone with about 90 dives and it would get stuck for 30min before I exit the program. Also, the cancel next to the message isn't working.

I am using the 2.3.6 on my Mac (Yosemite) and the latest Divelog on my iPhone 5 and iPad2 - both with iOS 8.

This used be a matter of seconds and it paired correctly with new code etc, yet it doesn't actually do anything. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this or is this a known problem with my combination of software / devices?

Also, I second a proper iCloud backup / sync option

I have the same issue which only occurs now after having updated to 2.3.6.

Apologies for the inconvenience. I am fairly certain I had fixed this issue some time ago. I think something got out of sync (no pun intended) between my laptop/desktop and the change got lost. I'm going through to double-check and make sure no other fixes got lost the same way.

I have sent you the beta. For what it's worth, and the forum, this is nothing to do with Yosemite.
