Hello
figured a lot out already, now I am not sure what the right sequens is for using the logbook.
The way I see it is that you fill out some data, like location, country and some detail in dive log select the xen computer as equipment and when coming home download the data from the dive computer to the Mac and synch with youre mobile device and both data from Dive log and Mac-Dive are merged into 1 dive.
But some how this doesn't work, I get 2 dives and I can't join these when selected (was worth a try)
any ideas what the right steps are ?
thank s
Hens

Re: How to work with dive log and Mac-dive with Liquivision
1. Download your Xen with the Liquivision software.
2. Drag and drop the LVD file to MacDive.
3. Finish editing the dives by adding your location etc.
You could manually create dive sites, equipment etc at any point before that and just add them to the downloaded dives afterwards, that's no big deal. You shouldn't create a dive and expect to merge it, though - you need to download the data via LVD file first.

I'm not really sure what you mean here, sorry.
You can sync with Dive Log, and you can enter your dives there. This is covered in the help under iOS sync guide, and that will indeed let you merge both ways. Maybe I misunderstood what you were asking.
1. Enter your dives in Dive Log - make sure the times are within a couple of minutes
2. Download your Xen data to MacDive
3. Do a sync
Again this is all covered in the help, take a read of that which explains this process.
