Oceanic pro Plus 2.1

I have an Oceanic Pro Plus 2.1, a Mac with 10.7.5, a new USB cable, and Mac Dive. I have installed FTDI 2.2.18 and I get the error message ; Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.usbserial-20030001' (Error Code: -7)
My dive computer has a full battery, the cable is connected correctly, and it is the correct cable for the 2.1.
What else can I try?
