Common information among Fields

I find myself on trips diving the same boat, DM, Buddy, equipment, etc. that is common for 10-26 dives. At this point, I believe the only way is to copy and paste to speed up the process- but it is still laborious. Is there a way to copy a field value to, say, 10 dives. For example, Boat XYZ, could it be copied to a dozen dives, or is the only way opening the info box, paste (or type for the first time) it in the field, hit the Next Dive button, hit paste, hit the Next.....

I've done a number of trips where the info for many fields has been the same for 18-26 dives, and have been surprised how long it takes to fill out the fields.

Just a suggestion- or is it currently possible and I am just being dense .

You can edit multiple dives in one go. Select them all and open the dive inspector. Any changes are made to all selected dives.

So simple- why didn't I think of that. Okay, put this one down to gray matter failure, or close to it.
