Wrong dates when importing from Seemann XP5

Hi,

just tried and bought MacDive. Nice program with a lot of features.

Importing from my Seemann XP5 dive computer works perfectly, except for one small issue:

The date of the dive is always 3 years in the future, so my dive from two weeks ago is not appearing as 09/16/2012 but as 09/16/2015.
Older dives from 2009 appear as 2012 and so on... It's as if MacDive always adds 3 to the year.

I already checked the settings of the divecomputer, but the system time and date are correct.

Month, day, Times, Temperatures and depth profiles are OK. So it cannot be simple communication issue I think (would expect all data to be corrupted in that case).

Any idea, why this happens?

Yes - this can be resolved, though I would need you to run a test. Please drop me an email. I don't have the details handy (I'm at work) so I will reply to you with the instructions tonight.

I have the same issue with my Oceanic GEO2 since maybe last MacDive update a few months ago (?) ...

OCEANIC GEO 2 : Time and Date have been verified

After I import : All times are okay ... Date is exactly SIX (6) days behind !!

I did a dive yesterday 2013-07-21 ... was imported as 2013-07-15 !!

Is this a bug?

Yes, but it is fixed in the latest beta.

I have a GEO2 as well and there is still problem with dates being misread. I have the latest beta installed from the link you provided, 2.2.4.

I have 2 dives which had not been imported, both on 6 Aug 2013. These were imported correctly with the correct date. Seven dives with dates from 24 March 2013 to 20 May 2013 were reimported, all with the date wrong by 6 days, that is 18 March 2013 to 14 May 2013.

Dives prior to 24 March 2013 (the latest of which were 1 March 2013) were not reimported.

Using the "atom2" test. Send me the resulting LOG and DMP files with a detailed description of which dives you think are incorrect and what you think they should be, and I will take a look.
