Hi, I am new to macdive and i'm very annoyed by the fact that every time I plug in my Icon HD it opens up another diver under <null>. I am the only one logging on this computer. Is there a way to make it default to my name instead of creating an invalid diver?

You should change the owner of the Icon HD in Gear to be your diver. Dives will then be imported as that diver.
