Hi there,
First I must say that I love MacDive! Great work!
I am having some problems adding a photo as a label for a site. I created a new site, I can see a crossed camera (see screenshot attached), but I cannot seem to be able to change that crossed camera with a photo of the dive site...
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Daniel

Re: Site photos
Open the site to edit it (double click on it), and drag an image to the empty image view.

Re: Site photos
Thanks for the quick answer. I tried this before but it does not work... I see the + sign appearing on top of the empty box, I let go a photo, but nothing happens... Maybe a bug? I am using Leopard 10.6 with the latest version of Macdive...
Thanks
Daniel

Re: Site photos
10.6 is Snow Leopard. 10.5 (Leopard) is not supported.
Are you dragging on to the thumbnail of the site, or are you dragging on to the *image view in the site edit window* ?
The former will not work. The plus you see is for something else. The latter is the way to do it. I did it this morning before I replied to you and it worked fine. Also please use the latest beta, as I did fix some image problems. From memory sites was not one of them, but just in case.

That doesn't work. Double click on the site and drag to the image window.
Re: Site photos
Apologies, I meant to say I am using the latter method and that doesn't work. Somehow i end up with items in the 'photos taken here' folder.
Kind regards

Re: Site photos
Same problem here. I can't add a site image (though I can add photos to dives). I'm running 10.7.3 with Macdive 2.1.3.
I noticed that when we drag an image over the empty image box that the box doesn't get highlighted with a light blue border which usually happens if it is going to accept an image. The light blue highlight does appear when the mouse is moved away from the box.
I can add images to new gear. Just can't add them to sites.

Re: Site photos
Did you use the beta, as mentioned earlier in this thread? It fixes this issue.

Re: Site photos
Ah, I misunderstood because it has the same version number. With the copy I just downloaded the site images work too.
