Is there a way to put a scanned signature into the dive log?
For instance if the dive operator insists on signing a paper log only and you want to scan it and add it to MacDive.
Thanks

Re: Scanned signature
Not currently, sorry, but this was mentioned recently. The Signature is actually a vector graphic though (that you can draw), not an image, so converting an image to that isn't straightforward.
Re: Scanned signature
Bumping my second old thread here, sorry. I really like reading developer logs because I'm a huge geek.
I had a thought. Instead of converting a scanned signature to a vector graphic what about allowing either one? There is already code written to drag images in to the gear section. The dive log could accept either a manual signature or an image.
Cheers,
Matt

Re: Scanned signature
The issue is that the signature is in the same format Dive Log expects, in order to be able to sync.
You can always attach a photo of the signature to your dive, there's nothing stopping you doing that. But I'd rather just have one actual signature field, and maintaining compatibility with Dive Log is the primary reason for it existing.
