I don't know if this is actually a support issue or a feature request, but here it goes.
When creating a new Smart Divelog, the list of fields does not seem to include the Dive Type entry from the "More" tab.
I've been using this entry for things like "Fishing" or "Training", but don't know what is expected there. Should I be putting that sort of data in the Tags field?
Thanks in advance,
Kevin

"Types" should be there.
I'll double check, if not it is easy enough to add in a future update.

Double and triple checked, and indeed, Types is available.
I should have remembered this - I use it in one of my own logs

Of course you are correct. The "Types" option is down at the bottom of the list. I guess it wasn't intuitive, because the field is labeled "Dive Type" so I was looking for a "Dive Type" option.nick wrote:Double and triple checked, and indeed, Types is available.

I guess the second half of my question stands, though. What sort of data is intended to be put into the "[Dive] Type" field, vs the data intended for the "Tags" field? And, since I'm using my iOS device(s), how do those fields translate into Dive Log?
Thanks,
Kevin

Re: Smart Divelogs and Dive Type
You can put whatever you like in there.
I typically use type for Wreck, Leisure, Night, etc. With Tags to denote certain trips or events, things like that. You can just ignore Type and use Tags if you want, you don't have to follow a strict code!
