I'm using the french date system with my macbook pro. I cannot type in any date without an error message unless I set my system settings to US English. Most date formats in Europe begin with day, month, year as opposed to the US: month, date, year. It's not about inverting the month and the day, because even that doesn't work. It really has to do with the input system of the date... I would really like to use the software without having to change the system settings each time... Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Martin

Re: Error with date format
Your date settings should be correctly respected for this, see System Preferences -> Language and Text -> Formats -> Dates -> Customize.
I am also not from the US and use day/month/year without a problem.
