I've imported my dive log from Suunto Dive Manager 3.1 into Mac-Dive, all ok.
The problem comes in when I try to download new dives. I get :Could not detect a valid serial port. My computer is a Suunto Vytec and I'm using a Suunto USB download cable.

Which driver did you install?
Did you put the device in transfer mode?
What do you see under preferences -> advanced -> scan for serial port, with the device in transfer mode?
