Minor Dive Log sync issues

Hi there,

First time poster, but a user since 1.5.0. Love the software, and want to sync all my stuff with Dive Log.

There are a couple of small issues with the initial transfer: tank sizes are truncated ie 12.2 litres becomes 12, 24.4 becomes 24 and so-on.

There is also something strange going on with the buddy entries. In Macdive 1, when diving with John and Fred I'd put "John and Fred" in the buddy field. After the md2 upgrade I changed it to 2 entries "John" and "Fred". On syncing to Dive Log there are now 3 entries in my buddy list, "John", "Fred", and "John and Fred". No dives are associated with the 3rd entry. Perhaps this is an auto-complete issue rather than a sync issue? Is there any way to clear out the auto-complete list?

From memory tank size is an integer field on Dive Log, hence not accepting decimals. I'll have to confirm tonight though.

There are plans to add some more functionality involving buddies which will let you clean up those old entries. For now I can probably patch something in to the next version to only look at buddies that were used, but I assume you can live with it for the short term!

The Dive Log app certainly does decimal tank sizes, but overall support is a bit unreliable. You can backup/restore dives with Dive Log Manager and preserve the decimals but as soon as you edit tank size with DLM it gets truncated.

No rush on the buddy thing, it can wait!
