2.0.5 Released

Post by nick »

New Features:
Added iOS sync with DiveLog by MoreMobileSoftware.
Added support for the Atomic Aquatics Cobalt.
Added support for the HeinrichsWeikamp OSTC mkI and mkII.
Added support for the Oceanic OC1.
Added support for the Sherwood Insight.
Added support for the Tusa IQ750.
Added a NDT graph (currently only supported with the Cobalt).
Dive Type is now a token field allowing multiple values.
Added new flags (Curaçao, England, Bonaire, Chuuk, Yap).
Added ability to graph dives relative to a maximum depth (View -> Normalise Profile Depths).
Added O2% as an option when creating smart divelogs.
Importing from SDM files now creates tanks.

Bug Fixes:
DiveLog importer now imports metric files correctly.
Fixed some minor display/resizing issues.
Fixed issue where buddies would only autocomplete from addressbook.
Fixed gear purchase price not accepting decimal values.
Fixed air temperature/average depth not accepting decimals in dive inspector.
Fixed issue with merging multiple dives.
Fixed bug where adding images to sites/gear/certs could fail silently in certain cases.
Fixed launch issues on Leopard.
Fixed import issues for various devices.

Apologies for the up/down. The Cobalt requires a firmware update to address a potential problem that can cause the device to crash. It only occurs in certain situations, but it's best to just wait for the firmware update which should be posted in the next day or so (hopefully).

I've patched 2.0.5 to include a warning about this before you attempt to download. It also quickly addresses a problem on Leopard, so if you encountered that, just re-download it from the main site.

Let me be the first the thank you for the upgrade. I synched my Atomic Aquatics Cobalt without any problem and am thrilled to be able to view my dives. Again, thanks for the work you are doing.

Hey Nick ...

It really does work well. Top job !!!

Its good not to have to use Dive Log Manager now (just another step removed), and just sync direct to Dive Log on the Ipad or Iphone. :D

Well done !!!

Nice one.

A big thank you to Greg is in order, as he had to suffer through a lot of crappy betas before we got here. :)

Just bought the Dive log for my iPhone, works like a charm with the MacDive 2.0.5

thanks!

p.s. Allowing us to customize the Column names would be something appreciated for future versions

Nick & Greg,
Many thanks tho you both for this update it's GREAT!! Could not come at a better time as just came back from 1 week diving in Egypt.
There are some things I'm seeing that are not syncing tho. #1 The weight its on the dive log but will not go to the phone. #2 The tank info ie; size and type will not transfer over. #3 the certifications and personal info will not transfer as well. Other then that cant wait for my next trip and use my iPhone this time as GPS as now I'll be able to sync it back to my computer. :D
