Hi Nick
i mean that when i delete edit a dive and find afer adding more dives the original info / pictures
was correct so i can restore a particular dive and not the complete database.

If I'm not mistaken: this is not "possible". AFAK Apple has restricted this ability to a very few applications of it's own.
