Depths too small when importing a mac DiveLog xml file

Post by tilley »

Decided to try MacDive instead of DiveLog(1).
Dragged the old DiveLog xml file into MacDive.
All the depths are about a third of what they should be.
I would like to multiply these depths by 3.28084.
How can I do this?

(1) DiveLog totally mangled dives downloaded from my Suunto D4 on which I had doubled the recording rate.

I use metric meters in both programs.

Can you email me a sample file so I can take a look?

Hi,

just bought MacDive yesterday and ran into this same problem with my metric DiveLog file I imported... the temperatures are also wrong. Would you mind sharing the solution with the rest of us too

Cheers!

There are some limitations with the existing importer. If you want to try a beta copy out, then send me an email and I will forward it to you.

Otherwise it will be fixed in the next patch.
