Hi Nick,
Also I never had problems in V1.x version 2 is a nightmare...
Recently it crashed downloading with error 5 or 6 very often.
This week-end 2 dives, only 1 imported, the last one !
I had to run my old SDM2 an import the dives to have them exported to MacDive.
I have a cobra2 and usb future - Rs cable.
Any idea that could help ?

Re: Cobra2 - Downoload problem
We're aware there are some Cobra2 issues - there always have been actually.
Dives are downloaded backwards, so if it only downloaded one you should delete it and then reimport. You could also untick "only import new dives" but this would load everything.
I have a better solution to this planned, but that's not available now and is another story.
You could follow the instructions here on windows with suunto dive manager which would be a great help:
http://www.divesoftware.org/libdc/contribute.html
Also, generally, it will fail the first time. Immediately just reimport and it should work. The Cobra2 isn't quite responding properly the first time. We need the information from above to look into it further though.

Re: Cobra2 - Downoload problem
I often get the Error -5 problem with my Suunto Zoop. I use the Custom Idea cable and the Snow Leopard driver. I solve this error by...
EITHER:
Make sure I connect the cable in the right order. I think you first have to set the computer to PC SET, then connect the USB cable to the computer.
OR:
Just switch to a different USB port. Mostly works all the time.

Re: Cobra2 - Downoload problem
This seems to be happening a bit with the new custom idea (silabs) driver under snow leopard.
