MacDive Not Logged in error

I have just downloaded MacDive, and I've got all my dives imported, but I'm having issues syncing to my iphone. When I go to enable icloud sync, I get a message that I need to log in to iCloud, but I'm already logged in. Haven't tried drop box, but I'd prefer to use iCloud. I'm also logged in to the same icloud account on my iphone.
