Problem with joining dives (self solved)
Hi Nick, I recently helped out at a pool session and my Cobalt recorded the time as five repetitive dives. When I tried to join the selected dives, I noticed that it didn't do anything. So then I selected just two of the dives and tried again. So then I quit and tried again. And then again. Etc. So ...

Re: Surface Interval vs. Bottom Time entry
So tool tips all around? Or at least on the time entry fields?
Obviously this is a low priority feature request...

Re: Surface Interval vs. Bottom Time entry
Would that solve everyones issue? You'll never make everyone happy, so the easiest thing may be a tool tip of some sort that pops up whenever the control receives focus. I never considered that freedivers use the app, so the discrepancy makes sense. I would give a secondary vote to make both hh:mm:...

Re: Smart Divelogs and Dive Type
Double and triple checked, and indeed, Types is available. I should have remembered this - I use it in one of my own logs :) Of course you are correct. The "Types" option is down at the bottom of the list. I guess it wasn't intuitive, because the field is labeled "Dive Type" so ...

Smart Divelogs and Dive Type
I don't know if this is actually a support issue or a feature request, but here it goes. When creating a new Smart Divelog, the list of fields does not seem to include the Dive Type entry from the "More" tab. I've been using this entry for things like "Fishing" or "Training&...

Recording the Tides?
I know it's tough to be everything to everybody, but I'd like to put in a request for the ability to note what the tide is.
We have some wicked tidal movement here in Maine (10+ feet on a normal day), and it's something that we always make a note of...
Thanks!

Re: Solo Diver Redundant Air Supply vs SAC Calculation
... and calculate SAC on the total amount of available air. SAC stands for Surface Air Consumption . Therefore it does not matter how much air you have available, because only the amount you actually consumed is taken into account. If your spare tank isn't used (e.g. p end = p begin ), it shouldn't...

For anybody else that's interested, Nick sent me a beta version that looks like it has solved this problem. So it's been fixed and is on the way!

Re: Logbook printouts
I like the idea of an optional second page, or even third if you've got a photo page. Something where a single page only displays the most relevant info, a graph and notes; two pages would include more geeky stuff like a larger graph with temperature and SAC info, more detailed site info and an expa...
Re: Printing
I don't know if this belongs in its own thread. If so, I apologize. I don't know what the right answer is, but it might be worth taking a fresh look at the page that is printed. One obvious thing that's missing is the FO2 when diving EANx. It indicates that the gas model was not air, but doesn't giv...
