Re: Is there a dive site database in the cloud?
Nick, is there a KML example file? I have a large file that didn't import right, I need to move some data fields around. I have this: <name>All Sites</name> <Placemark> <name>St. George's Caye Resort</name> <description></description> <Point> <coordinates>-88.071830,17.554150</coordinates> </Point> ...

Sites : Visited / Not Visited
Thank you for the KML update.
With the ability to dump a ton of sites into the system, could we have a toggle or a separate icon for sites we have dived vs. sites that we have loaded? This would give a map view of the dives that were completed.

And for the record, this is the fastest I have ever had a request, acknowledged, added, and a beta sent to me to test! Whoa...

Import KML file
Is there a way to import a KML file to have a large list of sites already in the app?
Maybe have users share their dive sites? Take dive sites out of another website for a region you would be diving, and drop them in?

Re: MacDive not detecting a valid serial port
I have tried 50 times. Up, down, sideways. Jiggle, joggle, cussed and put it away. Started all this over again. This is a problem with my Mac getting the right serial port with the USB dongle... not me plugging or jiggling a cable. Will you share what "Failed connecting to dive computer on seri...

Re: MacDive not detecting a valid serial port
Cable only makes the computer go into PC mode one way. I am in PC mode when I get the error.
I have a ProPlus3 and my wife does too. Neither connect.
Batteries are good.
Computers are not wet. Haven't been able to get it to link for a month since our last dive.

Re: MacDive not detecting a valid serial port
And now... not working again. Under the devices page, it says no driver required. I have installed a driver for the DiverLog Lite app. If I select the /dev/tty.usbserial-20030001 for the drive (I think this is the one installed by DiverLog), I get an error. MacDive encountered a problem downloading ...

And for some reason, it just worked.
