Recently bought and installed MAc Dive .for My Macbook Pro ( 13inch)

Imported all my old Dives from Sunnto DM software - Great No Problems
Down Loaded The FTDI driver and then Downloaded my Sunnto HELO2 Dives to the Mac Dive - Great

However I am now trying to download my Sunnto STINGER dives to the MAC Dive software
I have a USB to Serial adaptor Cable for the Stinger and it works on my old Windows machine.

I have down loaded the Snowleaopard Driver But not getting any recognition to find the Stinger

Love the software how ever Any Tips

Is it an official suunto cable for the stinger? If it is, the FTDI driver is the same as the HelO2 one.

If not, what is it, and what driver did you install?

The serial Cable that conects to the Dive Computer is Official from Sunnto
But the USB to Serial converter to USB is a Generic one.

I have Loaded the Generic Driver that came with the USB to Serial Convertor

Preferences -> Advanced -> Scan For Serial Port

Connecting to your iPhone won't help.

What is the Serial->USB adapter?

You will still need a driver for it to work.
