Is there any way to automatic fill some fields with some preset default values like :


Diver Name
Water Type
Dive Type
Dive Operator
Boat
Buddy

I think it would be usefull to have these default things and the ability to change it ...

Diver name is filled in by default with the computers Owner Name, when you are downloading from a dive computer. Or, for certain computers, the name contained on the computer itself (the Cobalt, some suunto's).

For the other fields I haven't thought of a good way to provide defaults. Some people frequently/always dive in different places. I'd rather not clutter up the preferences with all sorts of defaults, either.

You can bulk change things, though. Select all your dives, then enter the buddy once in the dive inspector and all are changed. So it's hopefully pretty quick to update your latest few dives anyway right?
