Tank size?

Post by gjc999 »

So, I feel a little ignorant for not knowing this, but it seems that the common Aluminum 80 cylinders as made by several (all?) tank manufactures are not actually 80 cu ft tanks, but rather 77.4 cu ft. My question is, when I enter a value of '80' in the tank size field on a 'Tank' gear item, is the value 80 being used for SAC calculations, or is 77.4? Should I enter 77.4 instead, assuming one wants to be that precise?

The value you enter is being used.

Though it is currently an integer, so you won't be able to enter a decimal value - I will fix that next time I make database changes.
