Anybody know how to get MacDive and the Oceanic OC1 to play nice together?

It is not currently supported. You can try to follow the instructions here:

http://www.mac-dive.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=407

To provide us with some data so we can work on it.

Did you got any data from the test application?

no it failed, and I've been too busy with work to do much else :(

I've got access to a windows machine atm, so I'll have another try to get the transfer dump (it didn't work through VMware last time I tried)

Any new information on the OC1 & MacDive? I'm considering getting the Oceanic OC1 but I'm on a mac and therefore would like to use MacDive. So does it work? If not how can I help?

It is not currently supported. I am working on adding it, and we have made good progress. No ETA yet for a patch that will include support - possibly early next year.

Thanks for the info. In the meantime what would you suggest if I go ahead and buy the computer?

In the meantime, it is not supported by MacDive. It will be, once I finish the patch.

You can always use the manufacturers software under Parallels. You can export and then import that data but this isn't the best option. Ultimately you will have to wait until the next patch for MacDive to support the device.

As Nick suggested, download the computer on any Windows machine and then export/inport the data.

fwiw, I usually use my WinXP virtual machine (in VMware Fusion) to download the OC1; I have also used my friends Windows laptop.

While a little cumbersome, this method works well.
