VT3 Macdive Help

Hey All,
I am using a Oceanic VT3, Cable supplied by oceanic. I have macdive 1.5.3.
I cant seem to get the computer to read the dive computer and comes up with message "Error contacting dive computer"
Computer is in countdown mode.
Please help! Im going to go nuts if i cant get it to work!

You can try following the troubleshooting instructions for MacDive2, but 1.5.3 isn't supported any longer. Make sure you have installed a USB driver.

http://www.mac-dive.com/help/ under Importing. The VT3 should work fine, though there are a few bugs with Oceanic devices in that version (in terms of decoding the data).

The oceanic site only has drivers for WINDOWS
I have tried installing a different driver but with no luck. Any suggestions?
