Copy to external hard disk
I copied MacDive to an external hard drive, because I sold my Imac, this was 1 1/2 years ago. Now I try to open MacDive on my Macbook, but I get the message: failed to migrate data. I updated MacDive but when I open the program it is completely empty and there are no dives in it. How can I find my dives? anyone has a suggestion?

Re: Copy to external hard disk
Failed to migrate usually means you are using an older version of MacDive with newer data - the data is not backwards compatible.
Otherwise I don't really have much of a suggestion. There are instructions in the FAQ on how to restore the data (ie where to put it), but I can't help with where you backed it up unfortunately. Maybe you only backed up the app, and not the data?
