Assigning dive gear to a different diver

Hi,
Looking for some advice, I have some ‘gear’ currently assigned to me as owner with many dives on it however I will no longer be using them and they will instead be passed on to my wife (we have a multi-user license) if I change the owner to her will it affect any of my dives it is already assigned to? Haven’t found an answer in the user guide or the forum.
