Hi,

when I download the dive from eon steel the app is crashing when downloading is nearly finished. When I re-open mac dive the data are there but the dive all have dive number 0.

I can send you the complete crash dump by mail if needed.

Apologies for the delay. I'm aware of this - I can occasionally replicate it myself, it seems somewhat intermittent. No need for any data/info at the moment, I'm working on figuring out what's causing it.

For now, as best I can tell the download completes, if the numbers are wrong you can select them all, right click, and choose "Renumber Dives" as a workaround.

I'll have a new update out shortly that adds a bunch of fixes specific to the EON, in particular support for the new firmware, but I still haven't managed to isolate the crash itself.

Just wondering if there is any updates on this.

I just purchased a new Eon Steel and did a download test. There are no dives on the device yet but the app immediately crashed.

Hi,

Make sure you are using the latest version. There are no issues I'm aware of. My EON Steel is downloading fine (~40 dives). However if you are running in to a crash, please email the crash report to support. We're happy to help, however we really need a crash report to diagnose issues.

Otherwise try doing a dive first and if the issue persists please let us know.

I saw, thanks for that.

Could you repeat this once you have a dive on the device? While it shouldn't crash, it thankfully doesn't matter too much until then.

OK, will do. I just wanted to make sure it worked before I went on my trip.
