Why do you require all the personal information (address, phone number) for a registration key?

I'd rather just do a quick paypal transaction and get the key by email. The less I send out my personal information the better.

The payment processor (FastSpring) that handles payments requires it. You'd have to ask them why, but I'd guess it's for security/anti-fraud/whatever.

I don't personally use the information for anything.
