We have 2 new Aeris Epic computers and assorted old Aeris models.

On a current trip, an Aeris Elite T3 downloads as I'd expect it to. Each time, the dives are assigned to the correct diver of the 3 in our family log and MacDive remembers the name of the DC. Everything seems fine except that air temperature is always 32. When I download to the Aeris software (PC or Mac version), air temperature is correct.

With the Epics, each time the dives are downloaded to "Oceanic Diver" and the DC is called "Oceanic Unknown Device". All the downloaded data appears accurate, except the air temperature issue. If I rename the DC's (which do have the correct last 4 digits of the serial numbers) and assign them to the correct divers, the next time I download they will once again download under the generic "Oceanic Diver" and "Oceanic Unknown Device". The old dives don't get lost or reassigned, but I have to go through and rename the device and diver manually each time.

Any ideas what else I should be trying?

The air temperature is 32 which is 0 celsius, the default value for when I don't know what/where it is (or the device doesn't contain it).

The other issue, Oceanic Diver, is because the model number is not recognised. This is either because it's a new revision of the device, or a device that isn't actually supported by MacDive yet.

Either way, please email me - I need some further information from you in order to update MacDive.

For the forum, test data received and everything looks to be working well now.

As expected, a slight model change - most likely from the removal of the Buddy Check feature that happened to a few devices.

And also for the forum, mind-bendingly fast fix for my issue.
