Hi,

I tried to hook up my OSTC3 computer (Firmware 0.94) with MacDive 2.2.3. Prior to that I installed the USB driver (V 2.2.18) from the FTDI homepage. When I plug in the OSTC3 it goes to USB mode and when I try to import the dives the OSTC3 shows: "Download mode enabled". However, after a couple of seconds I get the following error in MacDive: "Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -8)".

Also, I tried to update the latest OSTC firmware but there does not seem to be nay way right now to do that with a MAC. JDiveLog which is recommended for firmware upgrades does not support the OSTC3 yet.

Anybody knows what to do? I would highly appreciate any help!

Hi

Same problem with my OSTC 3, The error code given is Failed to read dive computer memory (Error Code: -8)

Have you tried the latest beta? It contains additional OSTC 3 fixes:
