Ait Temperature

Nick,

I just realized that the air temperature is being imported incorrectly from my Suunto 4Di. It is not in metric, but tends to be, except 2 outliers, between 39-42 degrees. I have dove in these temps, but I can guarantee it was in the 90's this summer. The watch itself shows the correct temperature. As I look back, it has been downloading incorrectly since I purchased my 4Di back in March.

My Suunto Cobra downloads correctly.

Water temps appear fine.

Any thoughts.

Thanks as always,

Terry

I was looking at this with someone else - I do not know where it is stored (if it is any longer). From memory DM4 does not display it so there's no real way to figure out what the correct temperature was. If you're aware of anywhere that displays what it is officially (on the device or official software) then we can investigate further.

Otherwise the best I can do is zero it out in the next update, as it's just plain wrong currently.

Nick,

After going back to the manual, I am pretty sure you are correct. I must just be looking at the temp when I check my computer on land. Oh well- not really that important. Thanks,

Terry

My D9 stores the air temp, and it was shown in the older Suunto software, but I wonder if they removed the sensor or something. It's probably best to just zero the value out so that it is at least not wildly incorrect! I will do that now so it is sorted for the next release.
