mares nemo trouble downloading the dives

hello forum
I got mares nemo and the usb cable , I donloaded the driver for the usb and also the mac-dive software
but when I tried to download my dives ,,,I got the following msg
Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.SLAB_USBtoUART' (Error Code: -7)
can you please help me

Seems you posted this in two different places?

At any rate, maybe your device is not in transfer mode.

Is it a DRAK or IRIS interface? I know with the IRIS it can be tricky to get it connected just right. I found putting the device under the IRIS was the best way (with a Nemo Titanium).

Under Troubleshooting Downloads. There are a number of other suggestions there, for example checking your battery level, testing with the official manufacturer software, etc.

is drak what Im using bit is not working
I tried to find the answer on the help page but no answer about the error code -7 also I remove the application macdive and I tried to installed again btu when I went to the webpage to download the purchased application , the website says ( not available )

Hi,

I'm happy to help but can we please stick to one form of communication? I've already reset your license and replied to your email. I'd rather just reply in one place than having the same conversation twice.

Try the official Mares software and confirm that your device and cable work there. If they don't, they won't work in MacDive either.

The next thing to try after that is the test application, instructions here:

Use the "nemo" test, and for that, email us the output and files.

Typically this error means either the device is not plugged in, or is not in transfer mode. Are you sure the cable is connected properly, the contacts are not damaged or wet, and it has worked before?

I tried to work on the Terminal but is very difficult , save the file Nemo on my desktop
and I follow the instruction but not working
is very frustrated to know that after 40 dollars and time spend on internet the Macdive is not friendly software
can we try again ????
