Can't sync Suunto Vyper with MacDive2

I have a Suunto Vyper and a Mac (10.8.2). I also have a cable from Smartinterface. But I can't install the driver for the cable. When I try I get the message: it's not impossible to install this driver because it's from an unidentified developer.
Do I have to change cable or what...?
best regards,
J/

Right click on the driver and choose open, instead of double clicking. It will let you bypass the warning.

Thanks. The driver is in place, but when I try to download data from the diving computer I still get the message:
Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.K800i-Dial-upNetworking-2' (Error Code: -6)

That's the wrong serial port. Read the help under Troubleshooting Downloads, but specifically Preferences -> Advanced -> Scan for serial port.

Ok, thanks, buddy;-) I'm all set. Just one more question: is it possible to change the numbers of the dives..? Like, my first dive with the Suunto was my 30th, but here it's numbered as no 1.
