Hi there,
I recently upgraded to MacDive 2.1.5 which looks great! Unfortunately, I seem to be stuck downloading my dives to my iMac running OS 10.7.4. I downloaded the driver for the my cable and when I connect it to the VT3 and go to File --> download dives --> VT3, I get the following error:

Failed connecting to dive computer on serial port '/dev/tty.usbserial-20030001' (Error Code: -6)

I have used two different cables, one of which I know works. Any thoughts or advice on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance, cheers.

Have you been using a previous version of MacDive and it was downloading fine? The reason I ask is that there was a minor issue when it was first released that prevented downloading in certain cases. If you upgraded right after it was released, you can redownload and the problem was resolved. The direct link is http://www.mac-dive.com/downloads/MacDive_2.1.5.dmg.

Give that a shot and let me know if it resolves the issue.

Even though my OS version is slightly older than the one mentioned, i experienced the same problem. i read your post and tried redownloading it. Still doesnt work. However, the error seems to haev disappeared and it just hangs now.
Any ideas would be welcome

I was using the 1.0 iteration before prior to downloading 2.1.5 a couple of weeks ago (had taken a good bit of time off from diving). I was able to download dives with the old iteration.

Can you please (both) run the test application, described here:
