delete a dive profile

I have just set up MacDive and imported some dives from my Suunto Mosquito. I would like to delete some of the profiles from my dive log. Some are duplicates from inadvertently importing them twice (should this happen?) and some don't qualify as dives... training in pool etc - too short, too shallow. The delete button is not active and "Delete" under the edit function is inactive. Surely you can delete dives? Appreciate any help.

Yes you can delete dives.

You want File -> Delete Items, or just hit apple+delete.
