XP10 or SUUNTO VYPER - ? VYPER DEPTH LIMIT FOR DESAT ALG

Hi there,
Open question: I am about to buy my own first dive computer after 15 yrs of diving....
I want it simple and cheap - my choices are the SUUNTO Vyper or the Sub Gear XP 10 (Aladin prime), I am 50 / 50 one or the other (XP is a lot cheaper and includes the PC software) I was going to buy the Vyper until I read that the Desat Alg only works down to 34M....
The XP states is works down to 80M...
I don't want the Vyper if the desat algorithm doesn't work past 34M - can anyone confirm the vypers specifications?
Any other comments on the XP10 versus the Vyper would be appreciated.
